A new personality has appeared on the upcoming presidential election in 2008. Barack Obama may be the very infusion of hope, ambition, and honesty that the country requires to restore our favorable impression in the middle east and the world at large. Not being able yet to comment on his political priorities, I am still on the fence about supporting him in a presidential run. I always have been of the opinion that America would elect a woman as president before seriously entertaining the idea of a Afro-American as presidnet of the US. Frankly, I fear for his safety if his candidacy emerged into the realm of possibility. Tags:
